  • We asked Kehau to be present for both of our hospital births.

Her knowledge and calm demeanor allowed me to focus inward and for my husband to focus on assisting me, while Kehau was our advocate and intermediary with the hospital staff. Kehau even provided in home postpartum Lomi and belly binding!

  • She brought the ultimate essence of calm into our birthing room.

Kehau helped us feel prepared and nurtured throughout the entire birthing and postpartum process. I had an incredibly long, exhausting labor - 55 hours! Kehau’s lomilomi and counter pressure massage techniques provided the best relief and allowed me to labor without pain medication. She brought the ultimate essence of calm into our birthing room, and was engaged and truly “with” us the whole time. She helped me feel empowered and supported, and advocated for me when I felt weak and unable. My husband and I agree that having her as our doula was the best investment we’ve ever made!

  • Words cannot express how thankful I am to have her love & support in my life.

With little support on my end, Kehau helped me with a package deal every single time. During my postpartum with my fifth baby, she came over for lomilomi & helped me with belly binding with a wrap. From then on, she has made herself available for lomilomi during my postpartum days and my current pregnancy with baby number 6 & 7. Our talks are one of a kind. If something is so heavy on my heart, mind & soul I am able to talk about it with her and she provides such knowledgeable feedback. Sister Kehau is heaven sent and is exactly what I have been looking for and needed in my pregnancy journey. Such a blessing and an amazing soul!

  • Kehau was my doula for my first birth.

She was absolutely essential for me surviving my 12 hour home birth. I can never thank her enough for the practically non-stop hip compressions that was the only relief for my back labor. She is tiny, but so mighty!! She helped us plan out all the details of our home birth, answered all our seemingly silly questions, and was the first to show up and last to leave during my labor and after birth. This woman is powerful and calming and knowledgeable all rolled up in one beautiful human being. I am forever grateful for her as my doula and great friend.

  • Her presence will forever be a blessing to our 'ohana as we welcomed our baby into the world!

Kehau has been a good friend for a few years, and when it came time for me to birth our third keiki, asking her to be my doula was a no brainer! You'd be hard pressed to find another who is as passionate about birth and postpartum care as Kehau is! On the day of delivery, baby girl was ready to get out in a hurry and Kehau rushed over like a flash and was by our side to support both myself and my partner in literally whatever way we needed. She is knowledgeable and keeps a cool, calm and caring demeanor the entire time that truly sets the tone for everyone involved. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience for our first home birth and Kehau was such an essential part of it!

  • Kehau is a prized treasure for any new or to be mother.

Now a mom of 5, I have no idea how I could have done any of what I did, pregnancy, birthing, healing and coping without Kehau! She has been a constant source of priceless support! Her hands are healing and her presence calming, that one massage turned into a weekly massage without which I don’t know how I could have kept my sanity doing everything I had to, completely isolated with littles during a pandemic. Labor is always filled with scary unknowns but Kehau has a way of dispelling that fear with her calming strength, words of encouragement and gentleness. She knows how to make a mama comfortable at every step during pregnancy, labor, birth and beyond.

  • We LOVED having Kehau as our doula!

She was definitely an ESSENTIAL part of our very first birth experience! There’s a lot of chatter and information that can come from every angle when you’re having baby. It was such a relief and reassurance to have Kehau to turn to for her professional advice that was always unbiased and in my best interest. She gave me confidence in myself that I could actually go through the birth experience and also the confidence to be an advocate for myself, my wants, and needs. I highly recommend Kehau for all your doula needs!!!
